The "Trial Board" limited to four the number of witnesses each side was allowed to have participate in the trial and imposed a limit on the size of the observer panel to five. These limits left those remaining shut out of their own union office. This left quite a few interview subjects for the press, including the San Diego Union Tribune and Today's Local News, who also were kept out.
